The new-age technology is awesome and the future of automotive industry seems very bright. More and more brands are developing eco-friendly cars that will reduce or completely remove the need for gas. But as much as the future is exciting, our hearts still skip a beat when we see a beautiful classic car from the sixth and seventh decade of the past century.

The ’50s and the ’60 produced plenty of amazing vehicles that belong to history now, but every proper car lover should know the history of the field well. We put together a list of 30 of the best (in our subjective opinion!) muscle cars from this period, and we hope you’ll enjoy it!

1. 1950 Jaguar XK120

The Jaguar XK120 was created by William Lyons, who owned a Jaguar car and wanted to design a more beautiful one. The car was as powerful as it looked – it had a 3.4-liter, double-overhead-cam inline-six engine producing 160 horsepower. Though it was supposed to be a limited edition, high demand led to mass production.
